We are a mother-daughter team on a mission. From tattered and forgotten to reveled and restored – our goal is to show anyone how to bring new life and purpose to old pieces. Whether for your home, to accessorize yourself or give a meaningful gift to a dear friend, we believe in the art of revival.
Donna Jones, the mother of the duo.
“My dream job was to become a mother. I was blessed with two blessings and the ability to stay home with them through all of their school years. Sewing, decorating and crafting always came naturally to me, being passed down from my mother – my kiddos had the BEST Halloween costumes in the neighborhood. As my youngest prepared to head off to college, I soon realized that an ’empty nest’ was a very real… and quiet thing.
Reaching a new stage in my life, I discovered a newfound career and entered the world of Real Estate Home Staging. At a time when the market was continually sinking, I recognized a need in homeowners looking to sell their homes quickly. Without investing large amounts to get their home ready for the market (at a below market price), I developed a new approach to save homeowners money, which in turn opened my eyes to the world of painted furniture. With nothing but excitement, I dove in to hunting, fixing, painting and completely flipping furnishings for my clients’ homes. The result was an up-to-date design that sold the home every time. I love the process of meeting with clients and creating beautiful spaces they don’t want to move out of!
I am a Certified Home Staging Expert, a member of the Real Estate Staging Association, plus have a Sensational Color Certification creating the perfect trifecta for your staging and redesign needs. My husband and I recently became full-time Lowcountry residents and love enjoying all of the activities that accompany this beautiful part of the south.”
Brittany Garber, the daughter of the duo.
“DIY is in my bones. As early as my toddler years, I was the youngest member [the tag-along] of mom’s weekly crafting club. I was always ready to get in on the action to learn a new craft. That passion never left. In a family of design-minded hard workers, Saturdays were spent on home projects and Sunday routines involved church, lunch and touring model homes. From dreaming and scheming, to designing and making, I truly love to create.
It is my desire to help others find the same joy in designing a beautiful home that reflects their lifestyle and personality. I believe in always starting with what you’ve been given and purposefully filling in the gaps. When it comes down to it, I’m quite stubborn – with a little time, love and creativity, I know I can create those magazine worthy rooms on my budget. On your budget. On any budget.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!) and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Publishing from SCAD. I have an obscene affinity for beach walks, sparkling water and scouring thrift stores for forgotten treasures. I’m happiest in my paint splattered wardrobe and can’t wait to show you what we do!”
